The Festival of Theatre, Animation and Music in University Settings of Kisangani, FESTAMMU in acronym, will be 21 years old on August 31, 2023.
This activity will take place live from RTNC’s Studio Maman Angebi and at university sites.
From September 22 to October 6, 2023, the fourteenth edition will be organized in Kisangani around the theme: “A look at Democracy, the Culture of Peace and citizenship in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in Africa”.
We would like to point out that the dates have changed following a problem at the airport with an airline. The programs for the dates of September 15 to 23, 2023 have been modified and moved to the new dates.
The festival is organized in solidarity with the populations of BENI, BUTEMBO, BUNIA and GOMA who are subject to the horrors of war and aspire to peace.
FESTAMMU is a friendly inter-university meeting, a framework for emulation, exchange and moral stimulation for student and university communities.
In this context, the festival will receive theater troupes, orchestras, ballets, ndjango, choirs and others from the universities of BENI, BUTEMBO, BUNIA and GOMA who will come to join the other provinces for moments of sharing and resurrect the glow of hope.
