REGENERATION MATRIX group is proud to announce that its founder Virginie GUIGNARD LEGROS has been selected to receive the Education 2.0 – Outstanding Leadership Award, which will be awarded during Education 2.0 Dubai 2022 from March 23 to 25, 2022 at Intercontinental, Dubai Festival City, UAE.
This is the second prize that Madame Guignard Legros will receive from this international institution. Indeed, in 2019, she had already received a distinction as one of the 100 leaders in educational innovation in the world.
As part of this meeting, she will present the new project of Abondance REGENERATION MATRIX university about a new kind of university online training suite for digital professions and those of resilience in innovation. More info on: www.abundance.regenerationmatrix.university

Who is the founder of Regeneration Matrix Virginie Guignard Legros?
Q1) Please state your 3 biggest strengths as a leader in your opinion:
I am a trustworthy person who knows how to listen and assess situations and our NGO members. I am a force for innovative proposals for our ecosystem in education, social, physical and digital territories. I like helping people, in particular victims of war, climate, … coronavirus to empower themselves through knowledge, skills and intellectual knowledge.
Q2) Please give examples where you have demonstrated decisive and creative leadership skills:
In 2019, I was on small programs:
- The school for child soldiers for Mali, the DRC and Burkina Faso. It is a project suspended in 2021 and which will be implemented differently thanks to our internal network “Angels” made up of benevolent people (judges, lawyers, heads of NGOs) who will offer both solutions and prevention to these children have a different future than that of delinquency and armed groups.
- A mobile learning application for the disabled, including illiteracy. It is an application under development.
- An Xprize 2021 competition project for the United States: a decentralized school network to bring vocational education to the foot of buildings to limit travel and train people in education through virtual reality or for learning by hand directly in the neighborhoods.

They all had the same conclusion that they had no idea where to orient vocational training for the next 5 years.
The first problem was and is still present that the needs for innovation professions have been going through chambers of commerce for several decades. However, new innovative companies no longer go to chambers of commerce, they have their own networks.
The second problem is the lightning speed of technological advances in these innovation professions such as blockchain, AI, cybersecurity, virtual reality. A classic institution around the world needs 6 years to create a cohort of students. Three years of preparation and a minimum of three years of training.
There was therefore a structural problem of vocational education, or even of education altogether. I asked myself: What can I do to alleviate these real and dramatic problems, because in the meantime, these countries are training students for jobs that are already obsolete..
In September 2020, I therefore started to set up a new kind of online university project based in Switzerland within our ecosystem. The idea is to do online training, flipped classroom or distribute full face-to-face education programs to universities that adhere to our ecosystem.
With as a first program a training in digital project management with specializations from the second year towards the blockchain, AI, Cybersecurity and Metaverse professions. It’s a brand new project that I would like to pitch at Dubaï event.
Q3) Please state your 3 key achievements as a leader in the last 5 years:
Since 2017, REGENERATION MATRIX group has been supporting students who are members of our NGOs members to make MOOC GdP in project management to realize their entrepreneurial dreams as part of the GdP-Lab advanced training by project teams. At the end of their training, they enter our online project incubator.
In 2019, we created the MyLife program to give hope to young people through music, art, poetry, song.
In 2022, Burkina Faso begins the first MyLife program for schools which aims to develop throughout Africa as a first step.
In 2020, I created RIAVAT with lawyers and prosecutors from the international criminal court and the “Angels” network as part of our REGENERATION MATRIX ecosystem (80% of RIAVAT members are part of “Angels”). “Angels” has in its missions to educate the populations in zones at extreme risks like Beni, Ituri, South Kivu, North Kivu (in the Democratic Republic of Congo) to find their dignity, to become autonomous, to take care of themselves, even in areas where hope has disappeared.
