Re: “Files of serious crimes committed in the Kasai region”
The Congolese Society for the Rule of Law congratulates the General Prosecutor’s Office at the Kasai Central Court of Appeal for having closed the pre-judicial investigation of the case against the militia leader NSABANGA and diligently decided to send him for fixation before the Court of Appeal.
This case now brings to two the number of cases of serious crimes committed in the Kasaï region before the Court of Appeal of Kasaï Central within the framework of the jurisdiction shared between the civil and military courts , in terms of the repression of crimes against peace and the security of mankind.
The SCED urges the Court of Appeal to put some rhythm into the investigation of the file concerning the murder of 5 EPSP inspectors executed in the middle of a service mission and whose families are abandoned by the central Government and the province to their sad fate .
Everything passes, except the painful and tumultuous past mocking the wounds of many victims.
