Clashes between the YAKA and TEKE peoples, the Congolese Society for the Rule of Law strongly condemns the culture of violence and the serious violations of human rights caused, which can be qualified as crimes against peace and security of humanity.
It recommends that the central government initiate investigations and prosecutions so that the perpetrators, whoever they are, answer for their criminal responsibility and that the victims obtain fair compensation.
It urges all communities to promote peace as a guarantee of development.
